David Lonsdale is an actor and writer living in Southport, Merseyside.
Best known for his portrayal of the hapless David Stockwell in ITV's long running drama series Heartbeat, David has recently branched out into writing and is now published in several newspapers and magazines.

His popular 'David Does…' series appears in the Southport Champion and has recently been released as a book, snappily entitled 'David Does… The Book'
(available for purchase HERE).

Equally at home singing, after-dinner speaking, and with all aspects of presentation and hosting work, David is available for personal appearances at corporate, charity and private events through his company David Does Ltd. His past clients include the award winning Welcome to Yorkshire, Yorkshire Business Expo, ITV and TV Times amongst many others. He has sung at charity events at the Albert Hall on three occasions and at the Palace Theatre in Manchester.
